hamburger, bbq... FOOOD!!!

so i noticed i eat pretty much the same thing everyday... at work its just rice, miso soup and 2 kind of dish.. then on my days off its always fast/junk food... where are some good places i can get good hamburger, bbq.. or anything non junky...

There's a BBQ place over here on Westheimer on the other side of the Galleria that's pretty awesome.

I like going to Spring Creek BBQ at I-10 and Westgreen. Its okie.. its not the best but since its close to where you work, I am sure that if you live on this side of town its not that far of a drive..

From my years working on the road I can recoment the pick-up rating system. Count the number of Pick-up in the parkiing lot at noon and you will know how good the food and service is.

There are some great places here in Texas City, just outside the plant gates but I don't know that I could justify the drive to you.

there a place on longpoint (at cambel I believe but don't quote me on that) called Beef and Bun. Awesome food at terrific prices. It's a little hole in the wall that doesn't even have a sign with the restaurants name. It just says BBQ

There was, maybe still is, a Beef and Bun in the neighborhood I grew up in, on W. Fuqua near Hiram Clarke. I remember the food, especially the jumbo fried shrimp (which were prolly prawns) being very delicious and decently priced.

I need to go get some dinner.. I just spent 8 hours building and getting my new pc up and running (didnt want to lose any data so I didnt so a reinstall and I had some problems getting it working again) but its all good now :) life is NICE

Joy Burger is this place off the beaten road, and a very small place. But the man was just awesome, and after having no more water, not running the AC in the vehicles to save on gas, and after trying to get into a number of places and they were not letting no one in, and people were crapping behind dumpsters because of it....it was a blessing to have been able to find his store, open, and the kindness he gave us.

We spent another 3-4 hours on the Beltway and 290 before we decided to turnaround before we were out of fuel.
