i was looking for a product that would clean the glass tops to all of my tanks. I have a calcium build up on all of them. Can i use LimeAway? Obviously i'll take the tops outside to clean them but i was wondering if the fumes would irritate the fish once the tops are placed back onto the tank.

If you clean them off good afterwards you should be fine.

I would suggest plain old vinagar. A trace of calcium acetate will not be a problem. I think lime-away has hydrochloric and (more probablematic ) detergents. You need to be much more thorough with rinsing.Comment

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts?
