Well, me and my brother are about to load up and head to this neat little lake around the corner from me. I've lived here for 26 years and never knew the lake existed until yesterday. Hopefully i'm gonna bring home a few more fish to add to my new WC tank. Wish us luck and i'll post some pics of anything we catch....

well, we just got back with about 20 perch and i almost got bit by a snake. i was wading out about 5' and i looked down and a 3' water snake was swimming right at me. i screamed some profanity and ran as fast as a fat kid can run in the opposite direction. Literally the scariest moment of my life. I'll post some pics of the perch once they stop stressing out and their colors return.If it ain't wild caught

I've been paranoid all night about it, i keep looking around to make sure my house is snake free.
Steve, the lake is in Baytown in a neighborhood called Meadowlake Village. You should come down for a day this weekend and bring your boat. If you take us out with you, i could treat you to lunch or dinner and some cold bruskies...If it ain't wild caught

The lake is huge. I'd say its about a mile long and about 100 yards wide. Yes, its restricted to homeowners, but i have family that lives there so if anyone were to say anything, i just tell em i live with my family.
