Now since when can a thread not get off topic? It is a everyday occurrence on the box are we now going to start closing threads because we feel that got off topic? Shouldnt that be up to the thread starter unless getting off topic is threatening or discuss religion or politics?

But why does that matter? If someone doesnt want to read it then they dont have to. I just dont want to close threads because of it then almost every thread on here would be shut down. We always go off topic and then come back on to go back off topic. Whats the point of this then.

No but I posted here because this is related to posts in the fish forum of when they get locked down when they stray of topic. I thought about putting this in the lounge but thought it would be better served in here to get a general rule on when this will and will not happen.
