Re: This is daisymac's daughter
I'm back! Yahoo!
I had a good xray on Friday, then on Sat. (after another good xray) they removed the tube and now I am at home again! Man . . . was I going crazy. Yes, I was at Memorial Hermann Northwest, and my daughter never came back on the board to follow up, but thanks, and thanks again for the prayers. We were all pretty freaked about things.
I hadn't been feeling very well the week before it happened, but then on the 14th I was coughing and suddenly I had a pain so severe that I though it was a heart attack. It was a "spontaneous pneumothorax" and from what I gather it's not very common, without an external injury. I am a lucky woman.
I made many friends at the hospital. Nice people. Some of the staff began to think I would be there forever, but sure were happy to see me go home at last.
So I'll catch up with you guys in the next few days. Now I have to spend time with my family, cats, dog, bird and my fishie boys! My betta Buster even missed me!
