Re: Help me identify this fish....

Have you two ever been to the Fiesta off of I-10 at Campbell? I'm not sure if they have any of the stuff you are looking for, but they have more ethnic food than any other place I have ever seen. The next time I go there I will look around for "brit" food for you! There is also a store on Gessner near I-10 (opposite side from the mall) that has all kinds of foreign flags on it, so I am assuming that they have a good selection of ethnic foods, but I can't guarantee it.

Another thing - from what I have heard the Black Labrador on Montrose, has a good selection of Bristish food. I have eaten there before and they have Bangers and Mash, Bubble and Squeak, Steak and Kidney Pie - or at least they did a couple years ago. It is really good food too. It's a pub and restaurant.

Speaking of cats & dogs in Chinese food . . . my parents used to eat at a chinese resaturant that was next door to a pet store, but I wouldn't eat there to save my life - just too suspect for me!

Yeah I heard that Fiesta has a lot of ethnic fare. There is one real close to me. My wife had a bad experience in the parking lot of a Fiesta and now won't shop there.

Black Lab does still do primarily Brit food. Its sposed to be "pub grub" and have the feel of a brit pub. Its pretty bloody good actually.

As for eating pets, you know some rotten buggers actually eat shrimps and crayfish? Horrible.

The Fiesta off I-10 is more "yuppified" than most of them - hence safer! There are a couple close to me that I won't go to myself.

              Re: Ethnic Food?

Okay, I went ahead and split this topic, not because it was hurting anyone, but it's just way off identifying a fish.

Let me know if you want to change the title or anything, as I have NO idea what you're talking about!   Thanks!

theres a fiesta off of 45 around exit 55-58??
im sure its not far from the beltway. i always thought it was mexican food so ive never been in one.

I dont know what bubble and squeak is. As for Kidney in my pies - no way!! Disgusting. i cant eat kidney, liver or anything like that.

I love shrimp, but cant bring myself to eat crayfish. I always called shrimp prawns anyway. i'm pretty sure its the same thing?

I do have some funny stories about when i first got over here- like almost chasing the server in Joes crab shack for taking my drink when i had half a glass left. (no free refills in the UK).
