you have two options besides trying Gander Mountain or Academy, you can either wait for a gun show or check online.
I think the main thing when getting a spotting scope is the quality off the optics, nothing sucks more that getting optics that give you a blurry view or creates mirages when is hot outside.
That reminds me, I need one too to sight my Mosin and my SKS, the ones at Carter's country have been beaten to hell.I dream of a Flagtail prochilodus!

I put one right after I bought it two years ago, but it's in scout configuration, why I did such a thing is beyond me, being a 91/30 is so ungainly long, it defeats the whole purpose of a scout rifle, besides, the mount is very flimsy, I need a good scope and a drill and tap mount, not to mention a bent bolt.I dream of a Flagtail prochilodus!Comment

You know.. I dont use a spotting scope.. just a pair of Bushnell 16x50 binoculars.

i had that scope for a while, but at 200yd it was hard to see the target, thats why i want something in the 20-60range...Comment

Yeah I wanna say this. At 100 yards the 16x50 works well.. anything after that.. you will need something better.. like a 18-36 x50 spotting scope.. still that is going to cost you some cash.
