One of their members is Evan Bowers. He was a speaker at the ACA this year on Apistogramma. He usually brings fish.

Usually it is mostly Malawi cichlids. Then Tangs (although few). You might see a few apistos if Evan or Kurt (or Kirk) brings them. Plants are usually anubias, java moss, java fern, basic swords. Someone actually brought tropheus to the last one (about 10-15 chimba total).

its never a waste of gas. I am comming from Baton Rouge, LA . I go for the enjoyment and it is worth it seeing new things and cool fish. I might pick up some new stuff also, which is a plus.

You got to enjoy your hobby if you expect to be in in long or you gonna be a fly by night. Just my .02

i only keep central american cichlids and a select few south americans so you can see why i would be wasting my gas.

Love it! Im going to have a great time. I will be donating fish to the auction so the winnings will go to HCCC. From my forum. Im looking for some breeding trios.

If anyone is going or lives in the area and wants to buy/sell/trade fish let me know my stock list is nice.

I bet it will be a good auction, but for folks like me - very picky (and those that know me understand). It will be a hard decision.
