I really have nothing against UT. I just think it's funny that these huge schools play these horrible matchups every year to make themselves feel better, and so commentators can make predictions about the rest of the year. I feel bad for the schools that don't ask to be brutally massacred for their first game every season.

When are people going to realize that the Big 10 is overated - I am looking at you Ohio State. Year after year they rip through a cream puff schedule and loose in whatever bowl they are invited to. The last time they won in a meaningfull bowl game was 02/03 Fiesta Bowl behind Maurice Clarrett (won't get into his pedigree). Its primarily because college doesnt have a preseason. So this is there preseason to get out the kinks before the real competition starts. And actually these schools do ask to be massacred. They dont have to sign the deal to play the big schools. But they do and why is that its because UT and all the other schools give the schools hundred of thousands of dollars to take it on the chin with the slight hope to be Monroe v Alabama or App State v Michigan.Originally posted by Sea-agg09 View PostComment

I love football season. Russ I am going to have to go with D on this one. OSU sucks against real competition outside of Big 10 and we all know the Big 10 is the same as the Big East and ACC. They suck until someone can prove otherwise. I will apologize for my statement about OSU if they can beat USC. With that being said I dont see that happening for years.Comment
