Oh no Darbex how can you reside in Houston and be a Cowgirls fan? So dissapointing!

Russ I think we have seen a move over the last ten to fifteen years or so towards southern conferences (Big 12, SEC) becoming the dominant teams in college football. If you look at those two conferences the teams are better top to bottom compared to the Big 10. The other conferences have top notch talent but it is dotted amongst the roster by comparison. Collin Cowherd has interesting take on this. He believes that given the choice blue chip recruits would rather live/play where the climate is pleasant year round than be a$$ deep in snow half the year. The other side of that is the heat helps with conditioning and stamina. UT practiced in 100+ degree for some 30+ days this year. You would have to think that would give them an advantage in conditioning and stamina as the season wears on. Whatever the reasons there is more overall talent on Big 12 rosters.

Pretty much every team in the Big 10 sucks.

I reside in Houston because of my job. I hate Dallas people because they are stuck up but I love the Cowboys. Grew up in Austin so I also root for the Spurs. I will root for the Texans as long as they dont play against the boys.

The point is that Ohio State looks good feasting on the dregs of the Big 10 only to be exposed in Bowl games. Not thier fault that the competition is week, but it does not justify celebrating when they win 8+ games against them either

the big ten is undefeated except for illinois.
sure they played cream puffs,but so didnt all the other good teams!

Allright you get points for team loyalty. Here is the way I see the season going for OSU.

They will loose to USC and win out except for Penn State and will end up ranked in the lower end of the top 20.

That is my call if I am wrong at the end of the season I am sure you will be around to remind me. I will man up and admit it if I am, but it's not likely

once colt mc coy leaves you guys will struggle like you think the bucks will,especially in the big 12.i admit the big 12 is probably the toughest division out there.

Mack Brown has had at least a 10 win season for like 12 years in a row the longest such streak and Colt wont change it. Garret Gilbert has a cannon arm and mobility. I watched him play after Colt finished of Monroe and he looks pretty solid. Of course Colts younger bro is coming to UT next year to compete for the starting job as well. Everyone though UT would suck after VY left and we lost 3 games Colts first year because he got injured.

I think OSU will beat Penn State and finish 11-1 and will play USC and get blasted again.

Ok so the Big 12 needs to kick Colorado and Iowa State out. CU sucks and Dan Hawkins is going to get the boot along with is son who shouldnt have been a starter.
