Speaking for myself I don't feel bad about funding the Astros or Rockets ballpark and stadiums. Both of those owners actually put forth a championship or competive team in good faith. Houston spoke loud and clear on those referendums. The simple message was; that if you commit with your money and effort to winning we will gladly support you. Hey Houston the city was just at fault for the Oilers departure as Bud Adams. All he wanted was a new stadium as the dome was getting old.

At Buds request, the city upgraded the astrodom, cost was close to 75 million I think. Then he ups and leave with the team. I think the city did what they could.

I think it was more that the city learned its lesson after the Bud Adams event that you dont really want to call BS with the teams since they generate a lot of revenue for the city.

??? I'm not a Cowboys fan? Dude I have been a Cowboys fan forever. So I guess I wasted all those year of rooting for them. show doubt in romo? The Cowboys are not just about Romo its offense, defense, special teams and more. Not sure where you where you coming from with that.

True it's a team sport, but it's also true that the QB touches the ball in 99.99% of the plays.

The Bears had a great team when the went to the super bowl vs. the colts. But their QB was sup-par and they lost.

Football is indeed a team sport. However there are two players that affect the team more than anyone - QB and RB. If a running back regulary fumbles he is usaully not the RB anymore. If a QB regularly fumbles and/or throws interceptions he is usaully not the QB anymore as it tends to affect the team.

All the alcohol in the world will not cure that but I'll join you. They shouldn't have wear those ugly battle cry uniform. Running game was killer for us these last couple of week but now they are a little bang up. Going to be interesting for us in Mile High.
