I have seen this before...the coffee table ones are cool too...but filtration suck to work with on those. This one you could hide evrything...but I winder how you would do WC .....?...You would have to move the TV to get to anything in the tank.

see i was thinking of actually maybe raising it a bit higher on mine.
the easier thing i could think of would be a planted tank.
no need to vacuum just change water.. and u could use a siphon to get it out and in the tank. Canister filter. The only thing i would be worried about is the lighting getting so hot in it. would need good vents. you could have the tv towards the front and put a opening in the back top part that has a latch

You could custom make the tank, with a filter attached to the back.
It would take some work but you could easily make it look nice and work very well.
Lighting would have to be T5 or LED (more expensive, no heat though)

Read this thread. It will blow your mind: http://houstonfishbox.com/vforums/sh...=17687&page=14

EDIT: Nevermind, the pictures don't work. It would be worth PMing this guy to see them though. They were amazing.

why not just put a webcam on you tank and patch it to the TV.
Then you could watch the fish or your favorite movie at the proper height.
(or even at work) Water changes etc would not have to change.
you could even rotate through each of your tanks without haveing to move,
or switch off the ones that need a water change.

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

ive been thinking about this for awhile now except i plan on making a canopy strong enough to hold a 50". my 125g has always been where my tv was supposed to go. i had a projector so i would just project the screen to the wall space over the tank, but we just go a tv and now my only options are move the tank or hang it over the tank. so thats wheni came up with the idea of just sitting it on a canopy. what do yall think? is it safe?
