I went to that place in Houston to get mine. The wait was horrible (was there a good 5 hours, and i went early, you need to make the appointment, but it really means nothing.) I did not get mine same day though.
Oh and you have to pay to park across the street from the building.
Oh and also, they told me to take my passport photos with me when i went (i think i needed 2)

Thanks Zulaab. It took us asian a while to come to America so we don't want to go out.
And you don't need a passport to go out of Houston. hehe Thanks for the link.

I went thru this episode last year to Los Cabo. What you have to do is call to the passport place down at the federal building and request for appointment to experdite the applications. I think you must give them a ligit reason. go to Walgreen to get passport photos. If you get a early appointment, you can get it the same day. I think the cut off time is at two. Otherwise, you can pick them up around 10 or 11 AM the next day. Make sure you bring cash it make thing easier. Good luck

I just did the expidited passport renewal about two months ago. It was 150 for the fee and it took exactly a week.
I did it at the US Post Office downtown. They took my pic and everything for another 15 even though I had to help them with getting the pictures correctly.
Hope this helps

got my picture at wallgreens - 15 minutes'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
