Dealing with other people's problems can affect you. My brother is a youth crisis case worker and the average burnout time for his job is like 9 months. No doubt it can affect you. However, his cousin was just on the news and stated that he was upset about that fact that he was about to be deployed overseas. This is a very sad case.. I feel so sorry for the people who died.
I hope the people who had to deal with this gets help.
I am so sorry to see this happen. My prayers go out to the families affected.

This one hit close to home for me. I walked those very halls when I rotated back stateside in DEC 06. What was really concerning to me was that my former unit has been activated again. The first image I saw related to the story showed a Sergeant wearing my old division patch (36th Infantry). My heart dropped at the possibility of former battle buddies being killed stateside on post. Fortunately my former unit has been assigned to Ft. Bliss.
