seriously though, i've been called worse and i dont take offense to being called a cheapo. I shop at the dollar store all the time, and buy clothes at the thrift store too. there's cheapos everywhere you go.Comment

I don't think its an uncalled for dig at all. Boxers are cheapos and I have the PM's to prove it. Every-time I've put something up for sale 90% of the offers made are below what I've asked for what I'm selling, AND I've almost never asked more than half of retail for the stuff I sell.
I literally put stuff up for 50% off or more and I still get people wanting to chew me down another 10-20% on top of that. Plus everyone wants you to deliver or ship on top of that! (To the last person I shipped to, you're exempt - this isn't aimed at you..). The only thing I don't mind doing (when possible) is holding fish/equipment for someone due to scheduling. I work shift work and know what its like to only get one or two small windows a week when both parties are off, to trek across town and pick something up.
Wild Caught Illangi still draw a premium price. Look what Quoc went through to sell his and the total cost. I think the comment was tongue in cheek but did come from a place of truth. This can be a frustrating place when trying to sell things. i've also been guilty of asking people for less, i;m not denying it, but who hasn't, i think most of us on here, try to bargain and try to get a slightly better deal on most of the stuff we buy.
but its when people want quality stuff at dirt cheap prices that bothers most of us.

and it wasnt cheap for anyone of us.
i know i have helped many people on here and have given away stuff on numerous occasions
wasnt taking any direct hits at anyone
