Not to be a pessimist, but a realist.... The economy is going to suck for a long time.... if it gets better to any degree and the price of gas shoots up.... People are going to be hurting again...
The skills you have John, and the work history, dedication, friendliness and creativity should start thinking outside of the box.... and look for a new box to play in, a new work life per se.
