  • Im bout to be a fish MURDERER

I am gonna go and catch about 40-50 bluegills tomorrow and cut em up!!! I've never eaten any before but heard they are great...and we got a lake near us that is FULL of them. I was reading online and it said there is not a limit on them and that it is healthy for the population to clear some out time and again...so I feel it is my duty to help keep the population true. My brother will be with me on this epic journey as we go out and do what we do best...be MEN...He11 we might even go as far as to take our shirts off to get a better feel for the natural sun the way our ancestors did before us!!! Pics will be taken as long as I remember to bring the camera. I need to pic up worms, beef jerky, and XX. First catch em...then cut their freakin heads off.

Man I hope i can actually go through with this. I havent filleted a fish since keeping fish as pets...

Bluegill are a little small to try to get fillets off of them. Head 'em, gut 'em and scale 'em. Roll in seasoned corn meal and deep fry whole. Some of the sweetest fish you'll ever eat, and the fins and tail are like potato chips. Just watch for the itty bitty bones. Man, I wish I was goin' with y'all! Have fun and catch a bunch.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

it took me and my boys a while to figure out how to scale a fish with a spoon .....use a cast iron skillet to fry them in....yum

I have always though the best thing to scale fish with is a curry comb......

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

What Mark said- gut, head, fry. Bass are better, in my opinion.
