AirJammer's family has a great BBQ place...not sure of the name though. I believe it is on Wilcrest near 59South. Potatoe Salad is excellent...we have had it at two GHAC/HFB functions.

Gilhooley's in Baycliff - best freaking oysters ever! - Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill are known to frequent this place and Topwater's pretty regularly

Topwater Grill in San Leon - just as good as Monumnet Inn but a little cheaper.

ok...just tried one of the best burgers in the city in my opinion...
tornado burger in stafford...a friend told me it is good...
i ve been driving by almost everyday...and never tried it...
man...next time when u guys come down to HAW, drive a little further on murphy rd., passed ave E, and it is on the left hand side....
double double with spicy all the way....add grill onions, jalapeno, and bacon....with the price of maybe cheaper than burger king...what else can you ask for...oh...and they have drive through...a little longer wait then chain fast food...but well worth it...

the only restaurant in houston that i ve been that needs to share tables with other people all the time....
i told brian last time...
they have the mega bowl too...
small medium or large is on the menu, but not the mega bowl...
ask them for it if you want..lol...
and make sure you try number 7...
one of the hot place where true viet people go to...
i know some people that live far north side..that comes down just for a bowl of their pho every weekend..

I have never had good pho in Texas. I don't know why but it just doesn't seem as good as the ones that I am used to. I think that it's just me sing I grew up on the pho in new Orleans. I like the pho kho in Houston though. I might be going to the wrong places. I am sure someone here will set me straight
