Looks like the babies are almost ready to fly. Won't be long, next time it rains, bust out the hose and spray everything.

If they are like the mocking birds the babies will jump in a week or less. Then they will have to deal with a very curious shar'pei. In a day or 2 they will be able to fly.

Those are doves, I don't know how long they stay in the nest.

Doves are tasty if you season them right and wrap em in bacon

She flew off when I went into the patio... she sat on the neighbors fence which is about 20ft from where I was standing to take the pics, couldn't get closer without her flying away.

It's a little finch looking thing but sings like a mocking bird.

Nest and eggs....little smaller than quail eggs.

                      It's pointy?

you can see some of the beak in the second picture... it's facing to the left with the eye stripe and the beak is slightly open. Every time I go out to the patio it takes off and when I go look for her she'll fly a little bit further away.

                        I'd say Carolina Wren.

If it is like my boy's shar'peis, I'd like to see a movie of that. I love their facial expressions.

Quoc, Is the top of the head black? If so, I think it's a black capped chickadee. They have a very pretty song. Karen is a birdwatcher, she probably knows for sure.

                              Should I capture it?
