If they are like the mocking birds the babies will jump in a week or less. Then they will have to deal with a very curious shar'pei. In a day or 2 they will be able to fly.

She flew off when I went into the patio... she sat on the neighbors fence which is about 20ft from where I was standing to take the pics, couldn't get closer without her flying away.
It's a little finch looking thing but sings like a mocking bird.
you can see some of the beak in the second picture... it's facing to the left with the eye stripe and the beak is slightly open. Every time I go out to the patio it takes off and when I go look for her she'll fly a little bit further away.

Quoc, Is the top of the head black? If so, I think it's a black capped chickadee. They have a very pretty song. Karen is a birdwatcher, she probably knows for sure.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places?
