Anyone knows a good lawn aeration guy?

Just purchased a new home and my lawn is as hard as a brick! Poor grass is struggling.
Looking to hire someone to aerate my lawn but all the lawn companies i have called won't do it unless i am enrolled in their regular lawn service plan.

I don't understand how anyone can turn down a paying customer.... Perhaps when I start my lawn aerating business i'll refuse to mow their lawn unless they purchase my lawn aerating service........

So .... anyone knows a guy?

If you feel like doing it yourself, I think you can rent the machine from Home Depot.

Yeah... i guess i'll have to do that.

But i don't think it'll fit into my honda accord.......

Let me know how that goes if you do it yourself. I've been thinking about doing it as well, but it seems tough.

Try checking out the tree removal services. I know when I was looking for estimates for tree removal, most of the sites also indicated they did aeration and deep root feeding of trees.

Also, Randy Lemmon's Gardenline has one vendor they recommend, and I know they did it as well.

I have one of these it works great. These core types are best they push out a 4" plug. Do it early in the morning when it cool. The lawn needs to be not too wet or too dry. Have a cooler of cold beer ready because you will need it.
