  • Any bird watchers out there on the Box???

    apparently there is a nest of young Bald Eagles here in Baytown. I havent had time to go look, but plan on it soon. I hear that the parents are gone from the nest most of the day but that the young are beginning to flap their wings in the nest. they are being viewed from the road and binoculars are needed to get a good view. I am not a bird watcher myself, but a chance to see a national icon doesnt appear everyday...at least not in Baytown!!!

          yeah they are by the golf coarse. I havent heard of them being there for a while. maybe???

            I've read about them on Texbirds. You can see bald eagles pretty regularly in the winter. That's cool that they have a nest there!

                we have several mating pairs up here on lake livingston!
                Soon to have tanks up and going again!
