Its virtually the same as the HD2 just slight face lift and name change. The plus side to this though is its Android based. But I love my HD2 so I am sure you will love the Evo.

6.5 wish it was the android though. Next wave that T-mobile brings wont be Windows.

FYI I dont know if the EVO will have this same problem but every once in a while clean out your tasks. With the WM 6.5 once you open a program it will keep it in the background draining battery juice so I open up task manager and kill all programs every once in a while.

I was debating between the HD2 or the Mytouch Slide this weekend. Ended up with the Slide since it had the Android OS. If the HD2 was Android, I would have gotten that...

I have an HTC touch pro 2 with 6.5 upgraded. Love the phone hate the OS!
