  • Cute, cuddly and easy to take care of pets?

My little sister wants a pet but she doesn't really like the idea of picking up after it. We have a 10g tank that we might be able to keep it in. Mom says no to guinea pigs, mini hamsters, no snakes, turtles, fish, ABSOLUTELY NO BUNNIES, or ferrets or chinchillas. I think that just about covers anything anyone has to suggest but if you have any ideas as of where to get cheap supplies and or cheap, small fuzzy thing, please, your advice and suggestions are welcome!
College = fishless for now. Vicarious living!

Hedgehog! Cute, cuddly, and full of personality!
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

They aren't rodents. Their quills are like a comb. Just don't pet them in the direction the quills are growing, or else they will poke you. Do some research on them. You'll find out that they are actually a great pet! :)

Hedgehogs love to poop on their exercise wheels while running. The result is that the wheels are always filthy and smelly. It is a LOT of work to keep a hedgehog's cage clean, and without frequent cleaning the smell is really nasty. Also, a 10 gallon aquarium isn't big enough!

I knew the 10 gallon thing didn't fit in. I don't think you're going to find anything small. Maybe a cat?
