I totally feel ya on this. I graduated in may, and my last 2 years were a nightmare. With 4 labs and usually 2 writing intensives each semester, I was always running around. Basically I found ways to make my aquarium maintenance more efficient. I also cut back on things that really didn't matter. I use to wipe down tanks every other day, and clean my rocks/wood once a week. That got cut back to "as needed", whose definition changed depending on the week... I also realized that adding plants to my tanks made them much more stable, and gave some buffer room in case I didn't have time to do all the filtration maintenance I should.75 planted (Being Renovated)

To the OP and other college students, hang in there. Some semesters are worse than others. Put your time in. . . it will be worth it in the end! If anyone has any questions or whatever, specifically with science, I'm more than happy to try to help. Just PM me! I have a lot of experience with my own school and with my teaching background.

It sounds an awful lot like "sick kids.")

Sounds a little like the plant taxonomy laboratory I used to teach. . . I suppose I'm lucky, because I've always had a bit of a knack for the names and all of that. Most of my taxonomic experience has been in insects and plants. . . keying out small bees to species is a real hassle, too! Good luck with that! Hopefully, they won't get too specific with all of that, because some of that probably is less useful.I make people happy
