Thanks Ek. I loved the roadrunner, but old cars especially mopars are money pits. Everytime i needed to fix something the part would cost triple what it would have been if I had a chevelle or camaro with a 350BB.
And i love the truck, but it really urks me that diesel is now more expensive than supreme. I try not to complain about the actualy price because I believe you shouldnt drive it if you can afford the fuel, but there is no reason for supreme gas to be less than diesel.

Hey I hear you man, I had an '88 L98 Corvette for my first car. Even though most of the parts are universal, I had to pay more because it was a 'Corvette'. The WS6 is even a money pit, I'm debating on selling it.
Yeah I noticed the price jump with diesel too....ridiculous! My pops went out and bought himself a F250 when unleaded was rising and one thing he didn't fail to mention was that it was cheaper then driving the other vehicles....now the F250 sits majority of the time.
i drive mine every day. about 80-90 miles round trip. last month I spent over $550 on diesel, but luckily I have worked into my business expenses. I am also glad that I get 5% back on all fuel purchases with my business amex, thats over $25.
I drive a 2006 Dodge Magnum, leather interior with a 3.5 L High Output V6; after over 25 years of heavy duty vans and pickups it is quite a change. Hauls butt, uses a little fuel, has a ton of room...I've brought home 2 55 gallon setups w/stands, and more, without any problem.
I have a Princess (6 years old) who comes to visit all summer and from time to time, so I need room for her royal playmates and their gear.
I miss the high water driveability, but I do enjoy the "luxury".
I am heart and soul a Harley man, and when it's time my Magnum will put me on another scoot. Until then, I am content to sit my butt on those leather seats and smile while passing everyone else.

All my other tanks have gone on to better lives!
even though unleaded gas is staying steady my diesel still gets 26 mpg and only has a 16 gallon tank so the Tahoe is the one sitting the most
I know that there is no reason for diesel to be that expensive (being a by-product) and so,Iam really peed off about that, but when you figure you cost per gallon my diesel still comes out on top!!! not to mention that Ive got around 250k on it (barely broken in by mercedes standards)
well.....I'm sure you can find pictures... but I drive a simple Saturn Ion II and I get an amazing 35 - 44 mpg city versus highway and I am quite content with my plastic car that easily carries a 75 gallon fish tank on the backseat lol

hmmm Reba, you must be doing 50mph on the highway to be getting 44mpg.
I have to drive at 65mph or lower to get 50mpg. Over 65mph and i drop to 43-48mpg
I cant believe anyone in houston drives slower than 75. All I ask is that any of you driving 65 and lower to save fuel, PLEASE, for the love of god drive in the right lane.

With all this talk of fuel economy I had to post. I ran my first full tank of gas through the lotus. 226 miles/9.5 gallons for about 23mpg. But it was my first tank and I wasn't going easy on it. In theory it gets better mileage on the highway than its EPA estimates. reportedly as high as 35mpg.
