  • Your thoughts may help

Yesterday my youngest son was life-flighted from the jobsite he was working on to UTMB in Galveston. He was in a ditch running conduits when a mini-excavator fell into the ditch. The bucket hit him in the back and pinned him against the side of the ditch. This resulted in three fractured vertebra. The cat scan found no internal injuries and they kept him overnight for observation. Hopefully we'll be able to take him home today.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

              He's in my thoughts.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Thank you guys. We took him home last night. He'll wear a back brace for a few weeks and should heal quickly. His cousin will stay with him for a couple weeks while he mends to help out.
