I ate my fish that died.

Hey BT, now were talking about something that I DO No alittle about. Looks like a twelve footer. Made real simular to the Ocean Kayak Scramblet Xt. The XT was my first Yak. Excellent for the surf. Nice and wide. Not much for a long distance paddling Yak though. They don't track very well, moves like a tank through the water. But, point is, your in the water.

These thing's will literally float in your own Spit.

Back to your original question though. Get yourself a small anchor, paddle clips, or paddle leash. Get yourself a box of Well Knuts. You'll always find something to add to your yak. Most definately a PFD. Game Warden's have no mercy on Ignorance. Check with Parks & Wildlife for specific's.

And last but not least. Texas Kayak Fisherman has got a Ton of really great people that are always willing to help out. And have a ton of info.

I wish I still had mine. I'd love to go with you. If you have anymore question's, feel free to ask. Hope this helps you.

I have two yaks. I typically go to the Texas City dike and fish Mosquito Island and surrounding reef. Tattoo is right about the wind. It's been brutal for almost three straight months, and not real fun trying to fish in. I have a small anchor and have added eyes and cleat to attach the various things I use. Sunday I'll be workin' on the 11.5 footer if you want to bring yours down to LaMarque. I have the tools for additions and modifications

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

I'm trying to figure out how to rig a pulley system for the mushroom anchor from academy.

I should test it out this weekend. Rain or shine somewhere.

I hear gators and snakes are what to watch out for.

Everytime I see the discovery channel and such I wonder how some people in other parts of the world live with all the creatures they share the land and waters with. I'm surprise we don't hear meany local incidents with all the gators and sharks around here. Do the sting rays around here have that dangreous poisonous stinger on them?

It's gonna be that way every where you go. Give it some time. Find yourself a small creek or little pond until the wind dies alittle.
