Friday night I took my granddaughter and my buddy's son fishing on a private lake. We had a great time and it was the first time the kids had ever caught a big fish. Here is a pic of the haul:

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
I use to head out to Conroe and jug for Blues, and Channels all night long!
Those are really some nice looking fish you all caught there!
Those are some nice fighters on rod and reel too =D
I know your little ones had a blast.
What did you all use as bait anyways?
I would always cast for gizzards and/or grass carp.
I sort of retired from fishing now at the young age of 28 =D
Had my fair share of fishing for many years now =D
I do have some things leftover from all my fishing gear sales that might be of your interests.
Last year I made some chum from milo and I still have 2 five gallons of it.
It's really great stuff. I would soak the shad or cut carp in the juice and then use it when I'm ready to jug. Biggest blue caught on a jug was probably 20+
So if you're intersted I would love to give you a bucket for your next trips. Maybe you can bait a spot and come back a couple hours later with the lilttle ones and not wait as long for them. =D
