Non-Fish Pets

I went through the forum for as long as I've been a member, and didn't see a thread on this. My apologies if there has been one in the past.

Anyway, I think most of us that come to a fish forum have fish, but I thought some other folks would like to share their non-fish pets.

Here is Sophie, the dog I got in January 2011 and Katahdin, the cat I got in September 2003. Soph's a little curious around strangers, but if she's not on a leash, she warms up to most people really quickly, usually takes just a sniff or two. . . also, I can see in the picture that she has my TV remote. Little stinker!

Shadow, my black lab, been with me about 7 yrs now


Lilu, the newest addition to our home, an aussie shepherd mix I rescued from the pound


This is Pouncer, the torbie kitteh I got from the Geeks a few months back


This is Sophie, Shadow's cat. We've had her almost 3 yrs


This is Prometheus, aka Mr. Screamyface, a conure I've had for almost 6 yrs

Some great family members there, everyone!

Little more background on my "kids": Kat is a standard black and white shorthair. She turned 8 in April, and was a rescue in 2003 from a Humane Society in Maine. Sophie was a stray taken in by a co-worker. She turned 1 in April. She's a mutt. I think she is part-Australian cattle dog (if you look up "red heeler," she's almost an exact match, except she's only freckled on her face and chest) and something else. She tries to herd me or other dogs at the dog park, and packs a ton of energy! Her best friend is a Doberman twice her size.
