I play both. Diablo has much more story (IMO). In WOW you can run arround doing your own thing or you can go do 5 mans or raids or what ever. You have a lot of choice. Diablo you start out at the begaining of the story and everything you do is leading you to the end of the story. You can't jump ahead and explore areas higher than you. Your toon and all npc's talk ALOT. And your killing all the time. It's enough different from WOW to be a nice break(I've played WOW for 5 years). It seems to be meant to be soloable (I did all of it on normal solo) But I've heard some of the harder levels you are better off in a group.
