UNDERSTANDING would have been:  "Honey, there's a pillow in the back of the car, why don't you just take a nap in the car?  If you can't find a jacket, theres a fish-towel in here somewhere that you can wad up and put under your head..."

LOGICAL would have been:  "If you're so tired, why don't you go on home and go to bed, I'll be there later. "

Not that either of those would get you far in the sack for a good long while, but hey, they can't cut you off if they don't know where you're getting it!   8O
