yeah and they are really easy to breed typically. the females ovulate as soon as the man gets down to business. really crazy. sugar gliders breed esily too, they just can smell a bit   those musk glands can get you.

Nope, the Netherland mike has is a buck (boy for all of you fishy folks). That's why I said that I want to breed some does (girls) to him sometime. He is a really awesome rabbit and he really should have been shown, but Mike fell in love with him... Now he is getting pounced on by a funny looking white rat... 8O

Hey loopy, if you have some "does" that need to be bred I have this nice orange netherland that needs his tubes cleaned out or at least get it out of his system.

Re: My Babies That Live In My Room

HAHAHA! That's cute. No, I have lots of bucks here to use, but Mike's rabbit is part of my rabbits' same bloodline. I love the type that these guys throw and I think I might get some pretty nice babies from the pairing. It's all about "type" with these guys when showing, and Mike's buck has it!

EK, I'm not knocking your buck or anything, but when my does are crossed out of their bloodline the results usually aren't pretty. LOL! I have heard of giving their lonely bucks a stuffed animal to play with! Maybe you can get a pretty blow-up bunny! HAHAHA!

Yeah Mike, but Gram wants Ricky to get back first. Ugh... he has decided to stay another week up there too... She has really thin skin so I have to handle the rabbits for her so she doesn't get scratched too. Talk to you soon!

Re: My Babies That Live In My Room

are sugar gliders hard to keep? I herd they make lots of noises at nite and the males leave their stink everywhere.

Mike do you have any dogs or cats? If so, they dont try to eat the gliders?

To me they arent hard to keep, but they do need alot of attention. Especially if you want them to be tame. They however do make a loud crabbing noise when they dont like something. Mines very seldom make that noise, and i haven't had a problem with mines stinking. Mine are never even locked up, and are free to roam anywhere.  I only have outside dogs so thats not a big deal.

Yeah Mike, but you have a job where you CAN give them the most attention possible.   Man, I wish I could be that free to pamper my animals.

Fork and Spoon have great personalities.  Of course spoon's it a bit more laid back..she is a little older and completely attached to Mike.  They are going to be awesome as they develop their personalities even more.  I have the parents of both and sadly most of mine were never completely tamed.  Most of mine are rescues, but totally attached to each other.  I do not find it hard to keep them.  The hardest part for me is parting with the babies.
