Anyone else have a guy names James Qualman that emails? Every time I list something he offers to come get it for free. Today, he emailed wanting me to give HIM $5 to come get an aquarium (18 gallon bowfront for $15) I am selling.

Not a bot, I actually gave him a couple of aquariums I didn't need and got in a trade quite a few months back when I got the same sort of email, left them outside on the driveway because he was coming over late, never even a thank you.

I have it for sale, the ad is still on cl as far as I know, picture is not really very good. I am about to give up on CL, someone said they would stop by and get it on the way home and they never showed.

I've sold a lot of stuff on CL so don't give up. As far as Mr. I'll take it off your hands, you have to guess he has an acceptable hit ratio for him or he would stop. I think you said you gave him something. Enterprising individual. Wonder if he's just collecting stuff and reposting on CL to make some dough.Comment

I don't know. I'm having an interesting ongoing email conversation with him, he sent me a snarky note when I told him to lay off, said he only got aquariums from friends and I wasn't a friend of his.Comment
