  • Home for a Rabbit?

If you find my post where I showed my 75 prior to fish-use you will see the bunny (http://houstonfishbox.com/modules.ph...338&highlight=).  Lily needs a home with someone (preferrably with kids or people who can give plently of attention without sneezing) where she will be loved.  Lily is presumably a "Lionhead" beauty.  She comes with a HUGE outside cage, a smaller wire cage, some timothy hay, food, some wood to chew on, and is pretty good at litterbox training.  She will chew on wires if left unattended, but I was told some bitter apple spray will prevent that.  Lily (I was told) was old enough for her last home in March 2007.  She is a beautiful beige/grey mix and has never shown signs of aggression.  She would be free with a promise of not feeding her to any other animal.  You would need a truck to pick her up.  I live in the NE part of town near the north loop of beltway 8 (I'm not far from the airport).
Shout to me if you could give her a good home!  Right now she is outside (I rescued her from being an outside bunny in direct sun...right now she is on the porch with no direct light and a good breeze that flows through) I simply can not breathe with her in the house.... Those who know me, know that I will take care of just about anything....but I think someone else can provide a better home...so I'm reaching out here.

When you bump something, you send it to the top so that it will catch people's attention!   I guess I just bumped it again for you, Reba!

ohhhhhh....I was so happy when I was reading this at first....
She CAN live outside, jsut not in direct sunlight or on blacktop.  The cage is awesome.  She is a sweet rabbit.  I jsut didn't realize how hard it would be on my allergies.  You could always say you were fostering the bunny.... :?

                      Re: Home for a Rabbit?

I've used the "fostering" line before!!  There are times we've lived in a zoo because I always have to help every little animal I see.  And my kids are HUGE animals loves as well!!  Our house is in one of those new housing developments, the ones with smaller backyards and NO shade.  I've owned bunnies before, and they are so beautiful.  I really wish I could take her, but we already have 3 cats and 5 aquariums.  My husband would never go for a bunny.   :(

                        Is she fixed?

If you checked your pms already, I mentioned possibly coming to your house and checking out the baby platies, but I could look at your bunny, too. I have a bunny at home, but she lives in the upstairs bathroom 'cause our dogs would get her otherwise and she's strictly an inside bunny. I've been trying to talk my mom into getting another bunny to keep her company (when I move into an apartment down here, I'll bring the bunny down here). I'm not promising anything, but just let me talk to my mom and she's coming down to visit me this weekend and I might possibly be able to talk her into this. Would I have to take the outside cage? I'd love the wire cage, but not the outside hutch because she'll stay inside with my bunny.

Please let me know and I'll go ahead and start talking to my mom :)

                          Re: Home for a Rabbit?

You could have the outside cage, or leave it.  The inside cage isn't very big.... but you might have better arrangements for her than I would.  I don't think she is fixed.  I haven't had her very long.  Pm me your number and possibly Sunday you could check out the platy babies and the bunny.  She is so pretty.  I just want her to have a good home
