So i'm on ebay browsing cars. I'm looking to upgrade from my 98 318ti. I found this 2002 bmw M3

I'd sent them messages on ebay asking where they are located and if some recalls work had been performed and got no responce.
So I spent all day looking up my financing options and decided to give Texas toys a call. I mentioned that this model had a recall on the engine bearings and asked if it had been performed. he said he had no idea. I then asked if there was anyway he or I could find out and his response was

    "I don't have time for this ****"

and hung up.  I'm still fuming....

How on earth could someone be selling expensive cars and PRIVATE JETS (texasairtoys.com) with this kind of customer service!

Anyway, Be weary of expensive items on ebay, always call and speak to someone if you can.

IF anyone knows where I can find a similar deal on an M3 let me know!

Yeah, that place sucks, most of their cars aren't what their really advertised to be. Awhile back before I bought my trans am they had a few on their website that were labeled as WS6's but really werent, not to mention they were asking way too much for what the car was really worth. Plus, if you want to go look at a car, you have to make an appointment, which I thought was stupid. The hell with texastoys

LOL! I took a look at the ad and they claim to promote honesty and customer service. I guess they lied about that too...

Their website looks way too professional for a mechanic. seems like they are trying to hide the truth with all of those testimonials.  And did you see that picture of him and his family on the motorcycle?

Also, you really have to dig to even find their address. When he finally responded to my question about where he is located and can i drive the car my responce was  "cypress"  and thats all.... Fishy

Texas Toys is known for selling crap/abused cars.  There's a few horror stories on ls1tech.com about them.  There's plenty of other places that will have the car that you're looking for.

I would go to Carmax. I just don't trust ebay when buying such a big prize

Ebay is not always bad....have a co-worker that recently bought a pristine Acura NSX on there...paid a little more then what I paid through our wholesale auction but then again he had the history of the car.

Funny though cause if I didn't buy that NSX out of our wholesale it would probably have been sold for close to double on some used "high-end" car lot.

they had some pretty awful things to say about them on the LS forum.

EK, keep an eye out for a 2001-2003 M3  coupe with less than 40k miles, under 30k

I'd just like to thank Texas toys for not being pleasant enough to get my money. Without them I wouldn't have found this deal of a lifetime!
