Poor misguided fools! Lol oh well, We are all going to like what we like, just like ford and chevy. I will say this however, I have Sprint and if I were to do it all over again, I would go with Verizon. I have bad signal, dropped calls, and horrible customer service. My dad owns the same phone as I do but has Verizon and mever has these problems. So whatever phone you decide to go with, do some research on the carriers!

I am in a similar situation as the OP and am ready to jump ship on TMO. I've actually been waiting for the Iphone5 to come out so I can jump ship. I've always used droid since they became available and have never used the Iphones. I'm pretty sure I like the Droid phone better, but I will never know until I get the Iphone.
So, I plan on pre-ordering the iphone and moving to a new carrier. I know Verizon is the best, but it come with a hefty price. I was a blackberry guy forever went to Druid for about two hours two years ago and took it back. I switched to apple and will never own anything else. Iv tried multiple phone companies and from my experience Verizon is hands the best cust service price and signal. All companies now offer apple. And the I phone 5 has changed the cel phone industry just research the new 5 and compare features to droidComment

im a bit of a "techy" type guy.
however, the only thing i dislike about apple is that i disagree wholeheartedly on apples behalf of open source, flash, etc...
so i unlock it. the concern is that it voids warranty and is a bit frowned upon.
droid you can add linux and pretty much do w/e you can / want to it
plus the 3d visuals of droid is pretty awesome
other thank that i love apple but utterly, disappointed in them for trying to monopolize.
but fug it, me being me, i just unlock it and do what i want for my tormented pleasure.

Hmm, I just got home from AT&T store and was able to pre-order just now. I tried online but wasn't able to do it, so I went up to the store. They didn't say anything about being sold out.
I think what you choose is just your preference. I have never used any of the other smartphones. I switched from Verizon a few years ago to go to the IPhone on AT&T and I have loved it ever since. But, as I said, I haven't used any of the others and I am sure they are comparable. I switched from Verizon because I was tired of their rude customer service, but had switched to them from Sprint years earlier because I bad service/coverage. These days I imagine they all have pretty decent service and crappy customer service, lol.Comment

Got my IPhone today, UPS guy left two boxes on my porch, I didn't even hear what time he dropped them off! I'm sure glad nobody walked by and scooped them up. That would have sucked! Wife just got home with my otto box (I wasn't allowed to play with my I Phone without the Otto Box, LOL)
So far I am very pleased with the phone, About to give Sprint a call and get it all set up.
Now I just need to order a few apps, maybe a camera app?.......LOL
