Well, my phone died while I was texting MJ, the charge port quit charging that battery apparently. Went to Moganman's suggestion, unfortunately he couldn't repair while I waited and he informed me it will be ready by 11am tomorrow given that he needs to desolder the charge port from the main board and resolder a new one. $40 for the service and I'll be back up and running tomorrow. I have a spare battery and charger coming in the mail so I can now run this phone till the next Galaxy Nexus model comes out next year.

PS: if anybody has been trying to text/call me, I'll reply tomorrow.
