They were not volunteers.....volunteers were not suppose to eat till afterwards and I am sure volunteers did not take donated clothing/blankets/food/etc.

She is going to school at TSU.....I wandered around for a bit....suprised I didn't run into you.

Since the car show is the same day. The GRB put us upstairs. I was running between floors trying to get people from wandering all over the damn GRB.

How's the knee? I hope you are feeling much better now and keeping warm on these bitter-cold nights!! I think I'm gonna curl up with a nice cup of hot chocolate and sob over Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, or Cold Mountain tonight LOL! That usually lets me feel a little bit better when I'm feeling down.

sorry loopy....it was cathartic for me....too much going on for me right now....and to top it off my son in law's father died on new years eve at the age of 38 for no apparent reason....so sadness has me by the collar right now.....so i was venting some.....sorry didn't  want to make you sad.....

Naw, you didn't make me sad--don't worry...I just feel for you from what you wrote. It touched me. I've been down for a while now...you know, I just get in these ruts sometimes and it's hard to pull out of them. I'm so sorry to hear about your family's loss! What a rotten way to start off the new year...I really hope that they figure out what happened to him. Sometimes knowing has a kind of closure in itself. I hope everything gets better for you and this year brings you many happy moments to make up for all of these cruddy ones now!

thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement Rebekah......they meant alot to me....i know so well what it feels like to be in those ruts that i can surely say.....
i hope they get closer too...it's not a good thing seeing your children hurt so much...it's not meant to be....but thanks again....and i hope your new year does the same for you to bring you good things...and memories to go along with those.....

well i just returned from the visitation at the funeral home....i really didn't know him that well, only talked to him a few times....but to just go at the age of 38 was just shocking to that family....and being that my daughter is now married to his son i felt so bad for them all.....keep these people in your prayers for those of you that pray....for those that don't....keep a nice thought for them too.....it was a very sad event....and i pray for god's speed for them all.....just needed to vent some sadness and noone to talk to but this box.....sorry....
