Caught me a 32 inch speck in texas city dike about 6 years ago... put up a good fight, was using live shrimp 10 in under a popping corkOriginally posted by alexrex20 View PostWhen my brother had an apt on the water in Corpus Christi, he was fishing pretty much every day. He's not even much of a fisherman. He swears he caught a 32in speck - measured it along the top of the cooler. Conveniently enough, he never took a pic and grilled it that evening. Fishermen have taller tales than hunters, but I think I believe him lol
My biggest speck so far is an 8lb 29in mama.

My biggest is just 27" 7.5 lb, but I'm strictly artificial fisherman. Haven't used bait in many years. I could easily put a 30" trout in the cooler by using live croaker., but it's a nice fish regardless of how it's caught.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu

I bet you are. We hit about 75 and it kinda scared me. Never went that fast on the water and going that fast, hitting a bad wave will end it all.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu
