Very soon a great member of our community will be leaving the area for bigger and
better things in life. I've known Texsun (Rob) through the box for a while now,
and for those you how have never dealt with him or met him you have truly
missed out on meeting a great person. Rob has always offered time, information,
and help to those who needed it. The best example I can give is from today.
Knowing Rob was moving we discussed me buying some of his shrimp collection. I
was excited about the prospect of adding to my current collection of shrimp.
Today I was handed much more than I expected. I had planned on coming home with
PFS, OEBT, Dwarf Crayfish, and some Nano Fish. For this collection we agreed on
$60.00. A great deal, in my opinion. Because of Rob's kindness and generosity I
came home with much more.....
I went to Rob's place for the first time, in the time I have known him. The
amount of fish equipment that was left from selling a ton of stuff already was impressive
to say the least. As soon as I got there Rob handed me a 2.5-3 gallon aquarium,
I was told it had to go with me. I told Rob, "I brought a small container
to carry to shrimp home in". He said no, it has to go with me because the
OEBT that I bought tonight had spawned in the tank!! Not only that but the
dwarf crawfish were berried. I was stunned by the awesomeness that the shrimp
had spawned already and I would definitely have at least a male and a female to
start with. As well as a male and female dwarf crawfish. I was given the zoomed
filter and light for the tank as well, and was absolutely stunned.
This was just a small act of kindness bestowed on me, by an amazing individual
and debt to this hobby. Rob, I cannot thank you enough for the kindness,
friendship, and knowledge you have given me over the last year. I know I am not
the person who has been fortunate enough to meet this individual.
Rob, I wish you the best of luck in your chapter in life. You will have a blast
in Denver bro!! Oh and only setting up two tanks won’t last long I’m sure. You
are a great member of this community and will be truly missed. I hope you will
continue to check in on the box and keep up with us on the box!
