Currently reading 'The Gripping Hand', sequel to 'The Mote in God's Eye'. Niven and Pournelle are a great team, IMO. Before that was the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Outstanding military sci-fi.

I've been reading sci-fi since I was a kid. I love the old masters; Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke, etc. Conversely, I also have read everything written by Louis Lamour.

      I read every day.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
