How do we stop mass School shootings?

This is turning into a race thing, which turns my stomach. I get both sides, but guys, come on. We fuss, we argue, we get over it. Put the racial card deck down & stop flipping them over. What it comes down to is mentally unstable people, regardless of race but in every race, snap. When they do they don't care who they take out, they don't care with what, as long as their insane goal is met.

I let my kids play violent video games but I also beat the tar out of their little behinds when they needed it when they were growing up & they're mentally stable enough to distinguish between "fantasy gameland" & reality. I do not spank the little one mostly because Autism keeps him innocent enough that, even at 12, he has yet to give me a reason. I do not let him play violent video games because of his disability. He has trouble distinguishing the 2. Just this year he finally understands that you can't come back from dead, that real life is not like a video game; you don't get to hit restart & have another life.

Where does race play into things like this school shooting? It doesn't. Not one tiny bit. It's about a PERSON's mental stability. There's absolutely no reason for a race card. Just my 2 cents as the mother of 3 completely different human beings.

No I'm not saying black kids don't play them but what I'm saying is the parents are buying these kids these games and their parents have no idea what it does to the kids. My parents never let me play violent games and like I said some games shouldn't be allowed for kids under 18. They put soft ratings on movies rating movies PG13 when in reality it should be rated R but to only put M for mature on a game but still allow kids to buy them regardless of age is crazy. Some killers have actually admitted to killing because of what they did in a video game. And like I said and will continue to say, bad parenting is to blame and the only reason I said white is because the majority of America is white. Do your research and find out that 84% of American serial killers are white. It's not putting them down or in a box but its mostly because whites are the majority. So my stance is that the majority of kids who play these games and eat these terrible ideas are white. I had a kid recently tell me he wonders how it would be to blow up a school and I told his parents and they laughed it off. I asked him why he asked it and he told me he likes blowing up things on games and wants to see it in real life. Now that's some real stuff. Kid's imaginations come from exposure.

I will not continue to explain myself about my comment. I know what I meant but you continue to pull one word out. My point in saying white kids was that I meant these are everyday kids committing unthinkable crimes. Maybe I shouldn't have said white but instead "regular" kids. Whites comprise of over 70% of America's races so I chose. It doesn't mean I'm racist. I meant to prove a point that everyday kids are doing these things and the parents are failing to be involved in their kids' lives.
