I still believe A&M still calls UT daddy considering UT's all time record is 73-36-5. I will admit that UT played some pretty uninspired football. But this will be the last year for a while.

Well...I have to say...being an Aggie through and through that last year's win was pretty lame because I guess tu went in thinking they would beat us again and they made a lot of sorry mistakes. This year...actually being at the game (9th row at that    :mrgreen: ) I can say that Texas played well...we just played better :)

I think it's hard to predict tu vs A&M games because of the fact that we're such huge rivals, no matter how well (or horrible in A&M's case...) your season has gone...it's all up in the air for that game.

Not really an aggie fan anymore, but I still hate UT so I was glad to see this.

Francione may have a chance to stay since he has beat UT twice in a row.  To alot of aTm alum that is all they care about.  Beating UT makes a successful season to them.

Fran resigned thank the lord...

I'm pretty sure the reason he was kept around for this season was because he beat tu last season. Hopefully we'll be able to find a good replacement coach...it's pretty sad that it's been almost a year and we don't even have a president for the university yet :/

Fran was actually a pretty good coach,go back thru and look at his win/loss, record not just with the aggies.

He was a good coach and then seemed to lose his mind once he came here.

I just don't understand why he didn't do better here. And to be honest...he runs the same three plays over and over again unless it's the tu game...what's with that?

It was good for the Aggies to loose Fran he became an idiot and destroyed that school just like Callahan did in Nebraska. Sherman is a good hire but that means there wont be a great year next year for the Aggs. I think Aggies care more about the UT AM rivalry than Longhorn fans do. I think we care more about beating OU at this point. Next year will be the good year for UT if they get rid of the Def Co. He made our defense horrible this year with all of the talent we have on defense.

I think you're right about the Aggies vs. tu thing...it's kinda like Tech and A&M...we don't care about Tech, but they sure care about beating us!...which is probably why they have...heh

Mike Sherman will be good for the Aggies.  It will probably take a year or two before his style of play really takes hold.  

I had friends last year who whent and got their trucks and cars inspected, just so they could have 12-7 as their inspection date. WHooP!

I will say, that the A&M and ut Game is not what it was, and currently the OU and ut game is much more spotlighted in the media.  Give it some time, and A&M will have a program again.

I think after a second win in a row, the game might get a little more attention...hopefully :)
