It never ceases to amuse me. What's up with these new members? Especially the ones who try to buy/sell/trade stuff in the market. I gotta share this one. Too hilarious to pass up!

Had this guy PM me to buy something and he asks for a location. I tell him what's in my location under my profile that I'm located at 77088. He goes on and ask where exactly am I located, again. I tell him I live a few minutes from 249 and 45. He then goes and asks for the exact location again. I gave him resources he could've used. Even told him to Google Maps the zip code but he goes to Mapquest it and says he gets several locations. Which is exactly why I told him Google Maps. Here's the convo.

Me: I still have it. Pick up only. I stay in 77088

Me: I'd rather not give out my address when we've haven't even established a time or day to pick up. Sorry, I am wary of members with very low or no post counts as most are usually inactive members that are only using the forum as they would craigslist. If you still insists on an address before even setting a day, I'd rather not sell to you. Thank you and I hope you understand why I only gave you a general area of where I'm located. What if you were to show up just because I gave you an address? I'm sure neither of us would enjoy that. Take this situation and learn from it the next time you try to buy something and ask for an address before a day or time of availability. Also hospitality goes a long way when you're trying to buy someone's stuff.

10 post guy: i understand all that but i was also trying to buy the powerhead from you only thing is you kept giving me a zipcode and not an exact location as in are you on 249 area or are you on I 45 area or where exactly you were at the zipcode showed alot of places and its alil fustrating..i wouldnt just show up to your house i always make sure i get a number to call first that way we could of arranged everything..as many people as i have bought things from on here or traded things with you are the only one that just kept giving me a zipcode instead of an exact location that way i know if your close to me i could of done it that next day or if you are far away from me i would of had to waite until the weekend...i didnt need you exact address just the location besides the zipcode would of been good for me..just because i am not a member or pay for myself to be on this site doesnt mean i wouldnt go and buy what i wanted or what i needed from anyone...and if i couldnt make it out for some odd reason at a time and place we had discussed then i let them know ahead of time

Me:.... What part of 249 and 45 do you not get? 249 intersects 45 and I live very close to there. If you google maps the zip code it will give you a more precise location that is highlighted... I don't know how much more "exact" can a zip code be...

Me: Sorry dude... Some people just need to be told. You asked for an exact location and I gave it to you. You continued to say that I didn't give you an exact location. If you can't figure out the exact location after being told, you definitely don't need to be buying stuff from me lol. Anyways have a great day, I don't need to sell to someone who's so ignorant and constantly asks for information that has been given, not once but twice and I even included a zip code to be more "exact".

Me: This is why I said Google Maps it and not Mapquest it... Google Maps will highlight and border the location of the zip code. Google Maps doesn't show a lot of different places so obviously we both agree that you are indeed the ignorant one... I said it twice again! If that didn't help, I even said I live 5 min from 249 and 45. You could've Google or Mapquest the intersection of 249 and 45. There is no need to answer "what part of 249 or 45 do you live on" if I told you I live close to the intersection... No need to type like tihs or say athnyig bcak bceuase you obivolsy conant raed. From the beginning I just answered your question promptly, but you continued to pursue an answer that has been provided. Yes, it is what it is. Simple as that.
