As the title says ^. I'm kinda bummed out that they won't be showing anymore episodes of The Office. What do you guys think about this whole thing?

Re: Thoughts on the Writer's Strike?
To be honest, I think it pales in comparison to the fact that the dollar is dropping in value and I believe troubled times lay ahead of us. But then again, I don't care much for TV these days.
SteveTruth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.

Re: Thoughts on the Writer's Strike?
Basically, Hollywood writers feel they're not being compensated for all of the tv shows and 'webisodes' online. So in return, they have decided to quit writing new episodes and what not until something changes.
This about sums it up:

It's not right that they don't get paid for their work, but *shrugs* what are you gonna do?
Silly Hollywood...
I'll start suffering when Grey's Anatomy, Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, Desperate Housewives, and Pushing Daisies starts airing reruns...you'll know when I'm dying, I'll be sure to let you all know.

Re: Thoughts on the Writer's Strike?
Hmmm...never seen the Office, so I'm not a fan... I am a HUGE fan of Heroes though!!! OMG, if they stopped the series, I would have to go kick some butt...or just kinda cry for a little bit and then kinda forget about it...LOL!

Re: Thoughts on the Writer's Strike?
A lot of shows actually have enough scripts to finish out the season or even film into next. A lot of actors are siding with the writers though and not going back to work until everything is figured out. Late night shows don't have a choice since most of the material is current events based.
