Shootings have been going on for hundreds of years. Now that it is happening in the suburbs nor frequently people are starting to care? Only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun

They need to bring back stoning. and make it public. 20 bucks to stone a criminal, proceeds go to the family they wrecked. People would line up for that

Only thing available now to the citizens are semi-auto replicas of assualt rifles.

Either pay tens of thousands of dollars and jump through the hoops to acquire the proper documentations to own one or go down the street to thug dealer and pay maybe a few thousands.

I can tell you from experience that banning weapons, making it more difficult for the ave citizen to buy them won't do much as far as curbing violent crime.
They did the same thin in SA about 16 years ago, and violent crime just kept soaring, the criminals will get weapons regardless.
Remember this "Never let a good crisis go to waist", exactly whats happening here...

Who ever really wants to get a gun and commit mass murder will do it there's no stopping that. What it will do is prob bring the price up on assaults

The 1st mass killing was 9 people over 300 years ago.

In the Conn incident the mom knew her son had issues and she still let him go shooting with her. iMO her fatal flaw was letting him know the combination to the safe.

The kids of every responsible owner I Know have no idea how to gain access to secured firearms.They take their kids to the range teach them how to be responsible marksman then go home and lock them away.

Yes and apparently he was using pistols for some reason the coroner said the victims were shot with rifle. Police found rifle in trunk of vehicle

It's just like the prohibition era. They banned alcohol and everybody was trying to get them some goodie goodie to drink. Some law didn't stop them. Our country was founded on rebels, so of course we're going to have people doing whatever they want if they really want it. Nothing will change that fact.
