  • Why does bill o'reilly have a show?

I was looking at some youtube clips came across one that had Bill O'reilly interviewing Ron Paul.  After watching the video I am thinking to myself how O'reilly seemed like such a dumb *** in the interview.  After looking at some of his other clips to see if he is the same in every interview, and he was.

All he does is ask loaded questions, and then interupts people when they are not giving him the answer he is looking for.  he's retarded.  My question is why did this guy even get his own show?  Who is he?

I actually rather like him because he asks questions that most other interviewers dont ask and when they start to try to change the subject so they dont have to answer it directly he stops them and makes his question very clear incase they were to ignorant to understand the question and when they continue to dodge the question he moves on and doesnt allow them to spew BS. Just my opinion.

I can respect that opinion.  I guess in my case, I look at it from the other side.  To me it seems like he is asking question like a lawyer, doing it in a way where there can only be one correct answer.

I never realized how intelligent you were, my friend...you think like I do!

Actually, I've been watching B O'Reilly for years, and of course there are times I wanna shout at the screen " Shut the *beeeep* up, you dumb right wing *beeeep*"; however, he does let some folks show his lack of facts on international TV, he does ask questions with no slack for avoiding answering or speechmaking, and he and I agree on several topics (a sure sign of his intelligence) such as insulting our top leaders on a personal level is classless and wrong; child molesters are a first offense throwaway; etc.
Ya gotta take all news shows and talking heads with a grain or two of personal salt, but I like to hear people try to spin unsuccessfully on his show (mostly).

All I was wanting to do is yell at the screen the entire time.  For example, when he was interviewing Ron Paul he never let him even answer the damn questions.  I understand yalls point about not letting people get off topic, but if he is going to interupt them on every answer what is the point of the interview in the first place.

Side Note:  I am not a Ron Paul supporter, and he has not the reason behind this post.

I am a Ron Paul supporter and I have the bumper stickers in place to prove it....

That was only added to my post because he had nothing to do with why I made this thread, even though I mentioned him several times.  I have not decided who I am in favor of.  And like I have stated before IMO all politicians are liars, no matter how truthful and honest they may seem.

That's cool, it just seemed like a good place to plug my choice for our next president. To me any one but Ron Paul means more of the same for us. If Dr. Paul gets elected, he might just turn this country around and put us back on the right track.

As far as BOR goes, just another media puppet as far as I'm concerned.

I cant speak for the Bill show you watched since I havent seen it, but the shows I watched I enjoy. For the things I mentioned. I guess I like him because he can be very passionate about his views and i am similar in that regards. Like Phil said his passion for getting rid of child molesters and his hatred for people that use personal attacks in stead of an intellectual debate are my same feelings.
