Just got a call that our blueprints are finished. Now we have to review the blueprints this weekend and sign off on them so they can start to pull the permits. Once we get the permits, the process should start to get rollin...

Just take lots of pictures for future reference. My wife took over 10,000 pictures of our house being built it has come in handy to have pictures of what is inside the walls.

That is cool. Our house was built by one of those big home building companies so I am pretty sure I can get the blue prints.

Are first home was built by the big name builders. After that, Our second and current home was custom. It's much easier to deal with a custome builder. For this one, we are hiring a GC to build this one.

So I am trying to decide between Copper, PEX or CPVC for the plumbing.. any thoughts?

My current house right now has pex, but I really don't like it. Think I will go with either copper or cpvc.

I had heavy metal poisoning and copper was one of the metals so I try to avoid copper.

It's a bittersweet day today as we close on the sale of our current home. As always, our super realtor gets the job done within a month. Now the focus is to get the plans for the new home finalized so construction can get started.
