Actually, 'no' lawn service is suppose to fire up 'any' motor before 8am....Call in on them.

Just looked it up again, and I am partially wrong. Harris county noise ordinance states that you cannot mow or anything else making noise before 7am or after 10pm. BUT, most neighborhoods have separate ordinances not allowing crews to start up before 8am, Which is the case in my area. Check with your HOA for your neighborhoods rules and regulations.
