Man, I used to really be into it. Samurai Champloo, Macross, Escaflowne, Japanese Transformers, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, Akira, Grave of the Fireflies, so on and so on.

I do have episodes of Gatchaman (entire first series) and The Ultraman (up to episode 25, looking for the rest). I am looking for episodes of Gatchaman 2 and Gatchaman Fighter.
I am also into Japanese live action, like the Ultra series and Godzilla.

I heard they're making a live-action Gatchaman movie. Seen a ton of Godzilla flicks too. I have fond memories of watching Ultraman dubbed when I was a kid. Nick, have you seen Battle Royale or Audition... twisted stuff!

Cowboy Behop I heard thats pretty good how do you like it ?   The only mangas I care about at the moment is Hellsing and Trigun and I'm trying to get one of my friends to lend me FullMetal Alchemist.

My friends were more into it than I was, but it's pretty solid. I guess I'd call it a jazz-influenced western noir set in outer space.

Escaflowne is pretty good. It's about biological armor that transforms into a dragon set in a fantasy world. Kind of Macross (Robotech) meets Lord of the Rings. Also like Samurai Champloo which follows the story of three unlikely friends as they search for one of their fathers set in feudal Japan. Kind of has a hip-hop twist which adds a lot comedy and an interesting twist. Grave of the Fireflies is about one boy's commitment to take care of his little sister during WW2 so that's a good mix of anime genres to get started. Ghost in the Shell and Ninja Scroll are definitely not age-appropriate for you yet so stay away from those until you're older.

Wow they sound good so do you have the anime or manga   i've been reading the manga at onemanga.com one of my friends reads Fruits Basket off of there (another good read) and i've been trying to get some of my friends to get me some manga at the next convetion
